My name is MELPO. I am a LAB MIX, 10 months old, and weight about 18 kg. My story… I am something of a Cinderella? I was living with a family- I had two sisters too, I was having a good time, I was young.
One day playing with my sisters, I fell into ivy leaves and got a bad rash. They took me to a friend –who knew about dogs and she declared I had the scabies. According to her I would infect my two legged sisters and we would all die.
"Take the filthy mutt to the intersection of two big roads, with a lot of traffic was the advice of the all knowing expert in veterinary and tea leaf reading.
Mom did just that. Followed orders to the word and that is where my fairy godmother found me
Fairy Godmother was in fact a member of SPFG and after a visit to the vet where I was declared healthy and without scabies she took me to the sanctuary, a place with lots of other doggies; and lots of food and love to go around.
Melpo is is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, also housebroken and leash trained.
