MAIRA (white and brown) and STELLA...They're the best of friends, they adore each other, they do everything together and never leave each other's side....you see.....MAIRA is blind and STELLA is her eyes....and here is their story..........
.......After responding to a call about a dog in distress our team in Greece came across a pup running in circles and screaming in agony with face wet and eyes closed... they gently picked her up and rushed her to our vet....The diagnosis? Some horrible person had pored acid in her eyes and she was only 3 months old the vet estimated......even though our vet tried so hard and did everything medically and humanly possible it was too late .....this precious pup would be blind for life....After a little over a week stay at the clinic our team brought her home....they named her MAIRA.
A few days later and while on another distress call our team came across a dog under pouring rain in the middle of a busy street crying and very scared ...most likely newly abandoned by her family....They rescued her and brought her home....they named her STELLA....And a true miracle started to unfold....MAIRA and STELLA bonded immediately, became best of friends, they do everything together, they adore each other, they have thrived and are so happy and life loving you can't even tell that MAIRA is blind since STELLA has become her EYES....And these precious ladies are now ready for their own family and home! A family with open arms and hearts for them, is among us without a doubt!
.......MAIRA is nine months old and weighs 16 kilos.STELLA is 2 years old and weighs 10 kilos.Both are housebroken, lease trained, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchiped and spayed! And both are pictures of health....We are very excited to welcome MAIRA and STELLA to SPFG family!! Our beautiful girls are now officially available for adoption together!!
