GELATO is a MALTESE MIX, almost 4 years old and weighs approx. 7 kg. He was found last winter by one of our team mates completely frozen- his hair turned into stalactites- and starved so he was rushed to our vet where he was treated. Unfortunately he was also diagnosed with carpal hyperextension, a condition that makes his paws look like duck's foots and his walk a little funny. It seems he was born this way but it doesn’t hinder him in any way. He is not in pain and leads a normal life. Besides that, he is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, also housebroken and leash trained. "GELATO" is a little shy at the beginning with humans, but once he warms up to someone, he becomes a loving, tender and affectionate dog. He is very social with other animals but doesn’t really enjoy playing with them. He is more the cuddling and kissing type, a calm and tranquil boy who loves to sit quietly around his family. He would make a loyal and devoted companion for any family.
