Adoptable Dogs - Faith and Hope

Anastasia rescued them while driving to Athens. They were running on the highway, on the inside of the traffic barriers only inches from cars going 120km/h. To get a hold of these two terrified dogs, Anastasia had to stop traffic – practically placing herself in front of the incoming cars in order to get them to safety. Fortunately, after a lot of honking, yelling, name calling and a fight with a huge truck driver, she managed to get the dogs into her car and off to our vet. After all the appropriate exams and the thumbs up, she took them to our sanctuary were they fit right in, making immediate friends.

"FAITH"- the mother- is a TERRIER MIX, about 2-1/2 years old and weighs aprox. 9 kg. or 20 pounds. She is a very cheerful, outgoing lady who loves meeting new people and animals. She is playful, athletic and extremely nimble as she proved by climbing trees like a squirrel. She is also smart, curious and food oriented, so easily trainable.

"HOPE" –the daughter, also a TERRIER MIX is about 1 year old and weighs approx. 6 kg. or 13 pounds. Just like her mother she is very energetic and agile, and can climb trees better than a cat. She has also inherited her mom's intelligence and inquisitiveness. While she is quite social and playful with other animals, she is shyer around people, and needs time to develop trust.

SPFG made sure both girls were fully vetted and vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed. We have also trained them daily to get them fully housebroken and leash trained.

Our precious young ladies, "FAITH" and "HOPE,"
would be happy adopted either together or separately!
