Anastasia found her roaming the parking lot of the city's mall. When she approached, "ARTEMIS" jumped playfully away, as if inviting her to play. Afraid she might run out to the main artery, Anastasia called a volunteer to help her capture the dog faster. Together they managed to coax her into the car with treats, and drive her to the vet.
After all the appropriate exams and treatments, they took her to our sanctuary with a clean bill of health. Since then SPFG had her fully vetted and vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed. We are working daily to get her fully housebroken and leash trained.
"ARTEMIS" is like a big puppy, a bit hesitant when meeting new people but eager to play and make friends. Once she feels more comfortable, she becomes teasing and mischievous. She is very social with other animals and just as keen to play. She is very energetic outdoors but calms down once inside the house.
"ARTEMIS" would fit perfectly in any type of family.
